This 3D cookiescape was made using 9 heart cookies and 1 shark cookie! I used fondant on the shark (both sides) to give more texture to skin and edible marker for his eye/gill details! I used blue isomalt to give the appearance of water flowing down three hearts flipped upside down. I used vanilla sanding sugar (which smelled heavenly) on vanilla Royal icing to give the appearance of a beach. I used fondant again for the shells which were then hand painted using mixture of gel/water and dusts. The rocks are actually chocolate and store bought by Duff. The "Love Bites" plaque I did the wooden plank technique taught to me by Creative Cookier Ginny and used cocoa luster dust. The word "Love" was stenciled and the word "BITES" was piped as I wanted the lettering different! I think that about covers it! Thanks Christine for the clever challenge-I hope you like my piece!!
Here is a view from the top without the shark so you can see the whole view! I wish the lighting could catch the color in the isomalt water better-it really looks cool (and you can see through it in parts too) in person!
