As we planned to renovate the kitchen on Saturday morning, I had to get those cookies ready Friday night. And the blue coating turned out to be not as dry I as I hoped it would be *lol*
I thought you had maybe airbrushed or dusted them, or used some other technique to make a shadow, lol! An artist should always say "I did that on purpose." Congrats on your color bleed!

An excellent idea! I'll use that for my next color bleed
