Hello, for this challenge I choose Japan (although I was considering Morocco a month ago   because of very rich history and tradition and because of some memories:
- long time ago I used to collect paper napkins and my favourite motives were the ones with the Japanese landscapes and geisha girls. I remember how happy I was with every new motive.
- when my sister and I were in high school, our father brought us two big Japanese fans with Japanese motives and for long time we kept those fans as main feature on the wall.
- Koi fish reminds me of a fish that I had long time ago in aquarium.
- last year I went with my son to a bookstore and he selected a book about Samurai and Ninjas. That was his first book to read and he was fascinated about it. I also enjoyed while he was reading it to me.
It is amazing how many different inspirations you used in creating this set - from the fans that adorned the walls of your childhood home to a cherished book read by your son. I also really like how not only are the subjects of your paintings of Japanese origin, but that you created these images in the style of Japanese blue-and-white porcelain - a double-inspiration! The level of detail in your painting is just exquisite. Great set!

Thank you so much for your kind words! Blue and white was a coincidence, but at the end it worked well
