I use to watch Julia's videos for entertainment's sake as I loved watching her handle cookies with much confidence. But this time I've tried to copy as the challenge allowed me to do so. I picked Place card cookies from the set (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQ5SusAyS5I). I hand-piped my son's name and stenciled the bow using a bow stencil from Julia's victorian birthday stencil set. I also stenciled the base cookie with the design from the same set.

Oooh, I am SO glad you gave this project a try - and used my stencils too! I imagine Joe loved them!
It looks like you worked through the tutorial without any issues whatsoever, but if you had any challenges, please share and I can try to sort them out with you!
Excellent work! Your roses, font work and other details are piped with perfect icing consistency. Also, your stencil work is impeccable. Do you have any tips for such clean work?

Well done!
Thank you very much and yes, he loved them. At first, I feared that circle pieces won't glue to base pieces but it did perfectly well. This has earned me a little more confidence to do more 3D projects

Thank you very much. What I learned here is that amateurs like me should list a detailed order of techniques to be used while making a complicated design like piping the inner circle and then the outer one. I piped the outer circle first and then struggled with the inner one

Thank you for that information - it's a good tip to know.
