Here are the molds that I used. 14825756_10210909111994448_996282767_n

I actually used the Sugarveil mold on the wreath but it doesn't show. The leaves are from Wilton, the roses from Karen Davies( I won this and love it!) and the the snowflake is PME.

This is such a beautiful and festive holiday wreath! The shimmer is beautiful.  How ever, did you get such deep reds and greens for your dough?

Thank you, I'm so glad you like it.  The dough is neutral in color so with a few drops of Wilton food color it easily gave the dramatic look I wanted. It's like working with fondant.

So Tina, is this the same recipe you use for cookie cutouts too?  As Sil pointed out, the cookies are well defined.  And the dough is like working with fondant?  I think you've crated the Perfect cookie dough.

Great job.....oh, and the bow? it's a delightful finishing touch. ;-)

Yes Pip it's my go to sugar cookie. recipe! The spread is minimal. There can be rough edges but all needs to be smoothed out before baking or else they become too brittle and don't have the same soft effect. I usually go over the egged with my finger or a bulb tool. Thanks for stopping by!

Blown away!  This is amazing!  Have been tentative about trying molds. After seeing this, I want to try it. Beautiful job

I think it worked so well because they are really nice molds to work with. Some of the softer cheaper molds don't take well to the chilled dough and if the dough is too warm it loses shape with handling. Thank you for your kind words. I'm so glad you liked it.

I love that little snowflake! <3 All of the pieces are wonderful but that one simply steels the show for me.  Lovely set, Tina!

Thanks so much Kim.

I had actually created a Xmas wreath but mistakenly baked the pieces together and wasn't happy with the results ;Tossed it to my son with a glass of milk.

It is much better to bake the pieces separately and then put them together.  i loved the snowflake too,  and added it to this wreath.
