Ok now, time to reveal secrets, well if you want to.

What did you put on the cookie, gingerbread?, to make it shiny? How did you achieve those little black specks?  They really add personality to the pumkins.

Thank you and I'm always pleased to help... They are honey gingerbread, my recipe, you can google teripringlewood honey gingerbread recipe  and the shine is an egg wash applied directly after baking. The speckles are made using a cookie designated toothbrush and slightly water thinned food gel. Load up the toothbrush with the color, gently run your finger across the bristles, pulling toward you and you'll have speckles. The thinner your color is the larger the speckles will be.... PLEASE practice on paper before trying it on your cookies. It's a fun technique I hope you enjoy!
