I learned so much on this challenge! I used an airbrush to stencil (#1), stenciled with Royal Icing (#2), used luster dust in the stencil (#3) and made a Royal Icing transfer (#4) all with stencils I store bought and created. I added a vine in the front left corner made from fondant as my one accent. It was airbrushed with the grass stencil I made to give the inner shadow. Thank you so much for pushing me farther than my comfort zone alone would have brought me! <3
Wonderful! Congratulations on being our first entry! This is a beautiful cookie. I love the composition of the scene, and especially the colors. For the dragonfly, did you use a stencil as a template and pipe the dragonfly?

Yes! Then I found it weak, so I did it again (up-side-down) to make it thick er and stronger. Then I did several airbrushed overlays with the stencil (moving it slightly each time) in blue and purple to give it dimension and shadows and lastly with wonder dust.

Kim, you proved that we can do many things with stencils. Wow! new discovery for me. I was not sure whether I understood #17 correctly until I saw your cookie. How small is this? I am just curious.

Aw, thanks so much, Roko! It's fairly good sized (5.25" x 3.5"). I did 2 flowers and the dragon fly as a RI transfer (new for me and not expertly done!) but I must say I really learned tons from this. Here are some photos along the way. Forgive the messy in process state. <3 It actually took 2 tries at the dragon fly (I loved the orange one but if fell apart).

Oh Kim, thank you so much. I do not have stencils and airbrush but looking at your photos, now I think I should try somehow so I can learn. Your photos helped me the parts I did not understand. You are soooo kind, thank you.
