Hi Christine, So often I search and search around at different cookie designs and then I start thinking about incorporating one element with another element with something else completely different that seems like it would work with the whole idea. Other times I look at a blank cookie (placque because I like them so much and have a lot of different placque cookie cutters. LOL. Often the shape of the cutter will determine much of the design. ) Hope all of this makes sense ♥

It makes perfect sense! I too spend a good amount of time searching for inspiration (ironically, not usually from other cookie designs). I love how you incorporate so many different design elements into your cookies. They always look so beautiful!
