Space with Christmas Cutters

Thanks, Marie! Super great set! Well, a meteor is very close to a shooting star, so this is a close call. I'm going to defer to Christine to make it! I believe she's traveling this week, so it may be next week before we can let you know. To be on the safe side, you may want to decorate an alternate cookie in the meantime - or not.

Also, while we're waiting for the verdict, can you explain some of the techniques used on this lovely set so as to further clarify your clip sets and tags? For instance, were the details drawn with edible marker or painted?

Yes I have a mixture of edible markers for the very fine lines and also some lustre dust as well as edible paint. I airbrushed the cookie, brushed with lustre then only used black and white coloured icing straight on that. (Hope that makes sense - sorry I will try and get the hang of better tagging for techniques)

Hello!  Yes, I was traveling these past two weeks, and was in a remote part of Kauai, HI with very limited internet access (Heaven, really).  Anyway, I will allow the meteor in this case, though it IS very borderline in compliance with the rules.    In the future, I would encourage people to ask about specific cutters BEFORE using them, if there is any doubt. All that said, I think this is a terrific set. The dark and textured backgrounds set off the images perfectly.

I don't know if I should delete this one and start afresh? Here are the pics with the extra shape to replace the shooting star cutter as it was indeed extremely silly of me The new comet is just thick royal icing, painted with airbrush paint and various lustre dusts on an airbrushed background.
