Wonderful collaboration.
Just a side note: I'm assuming you have the permission of everyone to post their images here? If so, this is OK. But if not, it unfortunately needs to come down. Due to copyright issues, site rules require that people only post their own images into the clip feeds. Let me know, please. Thanks.
Julia, I would NEVER post anyone's pictures without their permission!!! Each person emailed me their pics individually and I OF COURSE had their permission to include them in this collage that I put together. Each person is also tagged on this photo for their own credit.

I hope you understand why I have to check and cannot assume - we're not like Facebook, and rules here actually don't allow posting of others' images in the clip area, with OR without permission. (Only in edited/reviewed areas like the blog, where an editor takes the time to check each photo credit.) I just don't want to set a precedent for others doing this, because it requires tons of work on this end to check every clip posted and can run the site into trouble if our other members aren't as vigilant as you. We'll leave it for now, but I did want to point this out for the future. The better place to put stuff like this in the future would be in a full-fledged blog post, where it goes through a formal editing process and where we can more easily hyperlink back to each person.
The collaboration would also get more visibility as a blog post.
I completely understand and appreciate you allowing this post to your site. I thought it was a great round up of other cookie artist's work in a great group effort and everyone LOVED the idea of sharing it on here as well as other social media sites.
Thanks again for taking the time to explain that as I hadn't even thought about copyright issues (but of course everyone granted permission) -- I should have posted that the pictures were given with permission. Thanks agian.

It is a great roundup - but it isn't a matter of posting with permission even. In the Clip area on this site, we don't allow people to post anyone else's images at all - it just opens up a possible nightmare of copyright issues on this end since the posting volume to the clips areas is so huge. (Consider what a first time-joiner might do who has not read the posting rules - they might start posting images from the internet like this is Pinterest. This has happened before, and the cleanup task is large. I also don't want the copyright liability.) I KNOW YOU would not do this - I am mostly writing this for others to see too, so everyone is clear.
Next time you have a collaboration, contact me and we'll post it in the blog, and give everyone more visibility that way. I am, of course, thrilled to spotlight everyone's work - especially collaborations - as sharing is what this site is all about.
I will be sure to contact you next time. Thanks again for letting me post it and I will keep that in mind in the future for sure. You do such a good job on keeping this site clean of garbage; I can imagine it's quite the task!
