This was my first full-sized airbrushed cookie set design endeavor. It took me over 10 hours (on 38 glaze flooded cookies) just to do the stenciling with one Sweethearts Dynamic Duos Cookie Stencil Set featured in Julia's posting: https://cookieconnection.julia...-release-sweethearts
I tried to take advantage of all the detailed options Julia focused on in her posting like using different cutters, fondant "stickers", different background compositions, and different focus features. One thing I knew I did not want to tackle was a change in the color scheme she chose for her model cookies; I just couldn't improve on perfection ... @Julia M. Usher !

You did an awesome job! I am sure it will get faster next time. Do you have multiple airbrushes that you can preload with colorings? Not having to clean guns between colors speeds up work time dramatically!

Thank you Julia, you are so kind!
I currently only have one airbrush gun and compressor for single action work, but would have to more closely critique the longevity of airbrushed designs in the resultant cookies to decide if to commit to further airbrush equipment or not (i.e. the airbrusing usually looks "good" right after application, but seems to fade and/or take on a new persona with time - I just don't have enough experience with it yet).
I hope there is a next time (!), but right now I am in the one-off mode of hobby cookie decorating for the rare situations with a few friends and family who don't have to pay for what they get (haha - this helps with minimizing their expectations!). I really don't think I could do this under the additional pressure of being paid for the outcome(s). I LONG ago realized that I could not get appropriate compensation for the amount of work it takes to create results with such detailed content (such as in skilled crafts like cake decorating, sewing, and cookie decorating).
I really appreciate this stencil set design as it is affords so many ways to create a varied cookie set without going outside of the stencil design itself. Keep up the good work with designing these stencil sets for the cookie-decorating community!

You're very welcome! I'll try to keep up the stencil work, but it has been exhausting lately, I won't kid you. As for the cookies fading, I haven't had that experience, and I store my cookies for a VERY long time because I often make them weeks or months ahead for video shoots. Yes, water-based coloring loses its sheen to a certain extent (after about a day in dry conditions), but the coloring shouldn't fade if the cookies are boxed and not stored in direct light.
