All the miniature food are made of cookies. The cupcake base is chocolate. The tea pot is made of two sphere shaped cookies dipped in royal icing and the spout and lid is made of gum paste. The tea cup, saucer, the sugar bowl and creamer are all made of gum paste as I wanted it to look like porcelain. Decorations are all piped with royal icing. For the jam I have used real strawberry jam. The creamer is filled with white royal icing and real sugar is used in the sugar bowl. For the tea (liquid) I used maple syrup which I felt looked almost like real black tea!

I have used royal icing, gum paste, chocolate as different types of media

Techniques I have used are piping, molding shapes, airbrushing and painting.

I have experience working with fondant or gum paste but this is the first time I was able to work with cookie dough to make the miniature food.

What I have learned: I have always used cookie cutters to cut our cookies. But for this project I learned I could use mini silicone molds to bake the cookie dough to make the Bundt cakes. I also molded the cookie dough over spherical silicone molds to get the shape of the tea pot.  It’s a first for me to make 3D shapes out of cookie dough.

An absolutely adorable work and great entry for the Challenge! The many, many details are so cute, realistic and beautiful. I just like every cookie of it and the many mediums. Gorgeous dear Zeena ❤️  @Zeena

Your tea and treats look absolutely splendid. Using maple syrup for the "tea" was very clever - it looks just like the real thing. You also did a wonderful job creating your 3D shapes. The "porcelain" tea set and pink dishes are so elegant, especially when highlighted with those gold details. I love that you have created so many different desserts using so many different techniques. And the way you have presented everything also makes this a treat for the eyes.

Thank you so much. I had so much fun making it.
