Thank You, Mom

Four days ago I lost my beautiful hero, my mom. This cookie is for her.

For this challenge the spiraled center is made of gum paste. The inner petals are the tear drop petals. The outer shapes are the heart shape petals. I put my mom’s first name initial “H” for the seal. Cutting the petal shapes from acetate was the hardest thing for me in this challenge. I love how the roses turned out.
