I used royal icing transfers for the snowflakes, brush embroidery and airbrush for the backdrop, sugar for the ice, and I painted the face and dress. I used some other techniques as well but too many to write here

Lovely!  What did you use for that ice?

I used a mixture of boiling hot corn syrup and sugar, dyed it blue, poured it onto the cookie and then played around with it to form sculptures.

Cool! You'll have to name a fourth technique on the list below, though, for this amazing entry to qualify. So far I only count three from the list: royal icing transfers, sugar for ice, and handpainting. Brush embroidery and airbrushing are not on the list of techniques for this challenge:

Fourth technique would be painted areas with markers and luster dust, also on the snowflakes there are sprinkle and dragees so that could be a fifth technique @Julia

Wow!

Libby!  This is AMAZING!!!!  It's a whole 3-D cookie diorama!  The deep blue candy water really gives it a very dramatic feel.
