Thank you very much! The petals can be painted with an airbrush but I've painted with powder paint.

Thank you for letting me know that you used powder paint on the tulip petal edges! May I ask what brand and color you used? I read your tutorial after Michelle mentioned it in her comment. The powder paint gives them a realistic look.

I have to tell you...tulips are my least favorite flower to cookie but yours are absolutely INCREDIBLE!  They look soft and the light coloring you added to the petals makes them so special.  Just gorgeous!!!!
