Love the murano cristal effect (the hearts under the red)!!!!

It's been quite a job! I've burnt my fingers many times before  managing to have the  heart done!

Lovely!

However, a requirement of the challenge is to state in the comments which of your cookies has at least 4 of our listed techniques on it, and what those 4 (or more) techniques are. I see isomalt, handpainting, and a fondant flower, but not a fourth technique from the list below. But please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks!

See the rules below:

2.  Create your mixed media cookie (or set) using a minimum of four (4) of the following different media/techniques. (If you make a set, not every cookie has to use all four techniques, but at least one of them must!)

  • Please state which media/techniques you used in your entry in the first comment under the photo. If you've created a set, please also indicate which cookie or cookies in the set contain the minimum four techniques. This information is a requirement of the challenge; photos without it will be disqualified.

And here are the techniques that are qualifiers for this challenge:

  • royal icing transfers
  • fondant or gumpaste elements
  • SugarVeil® or other edible lace elements
  • sprinkles, dragées, or other storebought candies
  • stenciled areas or elements
  • stamped areas or elements
  • wafer paper, frosting sheets, edible gold/silver leaf, or other edible paper
  • homemade candy, such as melted clear mints, sugar syrup boiled to various stages, modeling chocolate, etc.
  • isomalt
  • luster dusts
  • painted areas or elements, using extended dusts or food coloring
  • hand-drawn areas or elements, using edible marker

I'm sorry Julia!

I feel so stupid... to tell the truth I posted the photo without reading the rules! But right now I'll try to put it right. Thanks for your effort❤️

For this cookie I used the following technique:

1. Isomalt (red heart shaped bubble, two drops)

2. Fondant (red flower on the snow ball base)

3. Handpainted facial details (brows, eyebrows and cheek)

4. Red Heart shaped confetti (under the isomalt layer)

Ok, thanks so much! Looks good!

I kept seeing this pop up in my FB yesterday, and I was HOPING this might be for the challenge!  I love how you used the isomalt, especially over the heart sprinkles.  Well done!

Apart from the amazing isomalt going on there, I am transfixed by the beautiful face. It's so perfectly done. (the little nose, so very sweet)

Thank you, Marie. It was a hard job, especially shaping the isomalt.

thank you Christine! You can't imagine how many times I tried to do the isomal heart, and how many times I burnt my finger. My son told me that looking at me was such a great show!

delizioso! Il cuore di isomalto è davvero bello, ma preferisco di gran lunga il viso, complimenti per la precisione!

Grazie Stefania, è stata una giornata fortunata!

This is absolutely delightful! Sorry to hear you had to burn your fingers for your art - what we suffer for our passions! Love the colouring and the face is gorgeous!

Thank you Kat. ❤️❤️❤️
