Vintage "Haunted" Valentines
These took forever, but I'm obsessed with all things vintage and all things "scary", especially Valentines!

I bet they took forever - they're so detailed and great! Can you add a little info about how you did certain things - for instance, the black line details (handpainted or drawn with edible marker)? What, if anything, is done wet-on-wet? Etc.? Just thought it would be nice for people to better understand the decorating process behind these cookies, because they are so detailed and complex! TIA!

Hi Julia, thank you for your lovely comment!!!  You made my day!  I'm not sure how to edit this post so I will reply here!  I used both marker and also lots of painting for all the details.  I didn't do any wet-on-wet for these.  I just piped them in segments.  This was a labour of love since they took forever and was only for my "fun"!  Thanks again! xx

So unique @lulubakes!!! I love these vintage valentine cookies ❤️!! The "dracula" cookie, "please be mine" is perfection . Awesome work my dear friend ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...

Thank you dear Carol, so sweet, I appreciate your kind words! xx
