This is the last of my series of miniature gingerbread Christmas ornaments. I admit that I wasn't sure I was going to make it happen, but it came together quite well and brought me a lot of satisfaction. The horse rocks as in the original wooden version.

I used gingerbread, royal icing, an egg-yolk glaze finish, gold luster dust accents and rice paper for the wings.
