Almost on the limit, finally I managed to finish my cookies, which are based on these ones made in october 2014.

It is easy to see that when I created the original cookies I had no idea on royal icing consistency, how to colour it or which designs to make… therefore the result was simply horrible.
Since them, I hadn’t tried to use coloured royal icing again, so this is my second attemp. In spite of having practised, I have watched millions of videos to study the different techniques and details related to royal icing.
After this challenge, I reconfirm what I already imagined : to work with coloured royal icing is so time consuming and so difficult!
Anyway, it was nice to see that I could improve a bit my cookies, and I had a good time decorating them. Thanks for giving us the opportunity of taking part in it!

Your cookies are much more precise this time.  Wet-on-wet was the first technique I tried when I started and I still love the look.  You are right that coloring icing takes time.  I try to use light colors and white with darker accents.  Glad you got in before the challenge closed.  --Katy

You have clearly mastered wet-on-wet in the second set.  Your colors are so much brighter and your lines and patters much more crisp and clean. It's ALWAYS about icing consistency, right?!

Thanks Julia! The best is that thank to this challenge I will decorate some other cookies using the same technique, since it has been a great time, so thank you for giving us the opportunity!

Well, icing consistency is basic, as I learnt, but also the hability with the piping bag is fundamental, and I also need to improve that Thanks for your challenge, I have had a great time making the cookies, and now eating them
