Winter Frost

All of the stringwork, including the large piece, are royal icing transfers. They were all practice pieces since I was a little rusty with my piping. I was happy with how these ones turned out so I arranged them onto a very large cookie.

Amazing level of detail. May I ask how long it took to make the big star?

Thanks, Gabi @Icingsugarkeks. The minis were fun and quick. I accidentally broke the large one the first time I piped it. So this was my second go at it. But I learned from my mistake - and got a little extra (unintentional) piping practice in.

Thank you @Dixie Dust and Powdered Sugar, and absolutely! I piped it a while back (it took forever to photograph) so I don't remember the exact amount of time. But I think it took a few hours - at least three. A lot of times I am interrupted when working on cookies with things to do (mom life) so I don't really keep track of total time. I think I will start to keep track though, and will include the time in my posts. Thanks for reminding me of that. ❤️

Wonderful piping as always! For some context, how large is the big cookie, and how small are the mini transfers?

Thank you, Julia @Julia M. Usher. The mini transfers are about 1" in size. The large transfer is about 6" tip to tip. And the cookie is about 10" in diameter.
