So these maybe need a short explanation : the friend I decorated these cookies for studies tropical trees, and specifically asked for cookies representing microscopical slides (thin sections) of tropical wood anatomy. They look like this :
So these (ever so difficult) funky disco wet-on-wet backgrounds are actually accurate representations of the microscopic structure of tropical wood!
