I prefer to use all-natural extracts and flavorings and have had great success with those from Spices Etc.   I consider their Clear Vanilla to be a must-have.  Excellent taste, no color tint and all-natural.  I have also used a great number of their other flavors with rave reviews (Orange, Lemon, Coconut, Pomegranate, Raspberry, Lime, Pumpkin Pie Spice and the list goes on and on).  If it helps, here is a link to their extracts and flavorings - www.spicesetc.com/category/Natural-Flavorings/a

They also have a discount code, if you want it, for a first time order:

CC9 – flat rate shipping of $4.95 for orders within the US only

AKT9 – 15% for US or international orders (discount taken before shipping costs)

I have been using these beans for a year now. You get 101 splits for about $28 with free shipping. They make amazing extract after they have been scraped for your cookies. You can also make your own syrup for a tenth of the price of store bought.
I actually did a small blog post on it if you are interested. I am in love with the vanilla bean.;o) http://www.alissweettooth.com/blog/63/

I prefer all natural extracts too, but I'm not too price sensitive since I'm no longer baking in bulk for customers. I typically buy from my local grocery, which has some quality brands: Nielsen-Massey, for instance. I'm sure I pay a premium this way, but it's convenient for me.

I love Spices, Etc. too! I always have  big bottle of clear vanilla, almond, and lemon on hand as those are my go-to flavors. For summer, I LOVE the key lime! I bought some of the pumpkin pie spice but have yet to give it a try. I have a variety of other flavors from them, but I get more out of the standard flavors.
