Hi fellow cookiers,

I love doing mini Ginger bread houses, such as those ,for example , seen on the 'Not quite Martha' site.  Until recently I have diligently hand cut them out . . . but I just ordered and received cutters which do the job fantastically.  The site from-japan-with-love.com has wonderful bento box cutters which are perfect for mini gingerbread houses.

Sofia sells them on eBay and etsy for $6, which I thought was a bargain.

I just was thrilled to find good cutters which did the job in miniature. I have looked everywhere for miniature cutters, and the ones I ordered from a different seller were metal, and the sides were  0.5. To 1 cm out of alignment.  This makes a big difference when trying to put together a small house ( I'm sorry I don't know the imperial measure, but I'm sure you will realise the importance of the sizes of the walls being the same when constructing a house).

I did see an 'all-in-one' cutter available, which would do the same job.  But unfortunately this is only available in the USA.  Internationally you are looking at at least $30 plus postage

For the record I have no vested interest in this product, or it's seller.  I was just thrilled to find such a product available at an affordable cost, which does the job beautifully

All the best for the Christmas season to you all.

Robyn

Thanks, Robyn. Great tip!

Can you insert the links (actual hyperlinks) to the sites (From Japan with Love and Sofia) mentioned above? I'm sure people would love direct links! Thanks!

Perfect! Thanks for sharing the link!

Robyn, Great find!  I just ordered the Bento gingerbread cutter set you recommended.  So glad this set includes a chimney.

How do I find the 'all-in-one' cutter available, which would do the same job." that is available in the USA?  I'd like to take a look at that one too.

Thanks so much!

Barbara
