Our fifth Sweet Sharing chat addresses a topic that is of increasing interest to many cookiers - how to transition from a production-oriented cookie business to one focused on teaching, and how to do so profitably and sustainably!
Natasa Belic, of Art & Honey, started teaching just two and a half years ago after receiving a request to teach a private class in Athens, Greece. Since then, she has held 40 beginner workshops, most of which have taken place in the past year. Roughly half of them were requested by people living in Serbia (Natasa's home country) or abroad (Italy, Poland, Greece, Croatia, Australia, and Singapore) or by event planners as team-building activities. The others were organized in cooperation with two private culinary schools in Serbia. And, that's not all! Natasa's scheduling more courses, in more countries, as we speak.
Clearly, Natasa's on a teaching roll! On March 18, she'll be prepared to address everything from structuring classes to marketing and pricing them, so don't hold back any (teaching-related) questions!
Natasa's chat room is now open to receive advance questions, here. For more information about Natasa, check out her brief bio below, and for more info about our Sweet Sharing chat series, click on the "i" (information) icon next to the chat title in the above link. Hope to "see" you there!
