Hi, all!
There have been a ton of new people joining up in the last few weeks, which is awesome!
For those new to the site (and some veterans as well ), please remember to read our site posting rules BEFORE you post the first time. They can be found in your sign-up letter and in many areas on the site. Link also here: http://cookieconnection.juliau...READ-BEFORE-YOU-POST
Lately, we've also been running into a large issue of people posting images FAR in excess of the limit of five at one time. Not only can excessive posting come across as spam-like to others, but the vast majority of these photos have also been added in mass uploads with no clip sets and tags that do not apply. Unclassified/misclassified images mean that your images will forever be lost on the site; plus, unrelated tags jumble searches and ultimately render them pretty useless. But I've harped on this before, so I won't belabor the reasons for these rules.
HOWEVER, ONE NEW IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL: While I have time to clean up a few tags here or there, and have been doing this religiously for the last two years, I do not have the resources for or interest in cleaning up multiple misclassified photos from any one person, or the resources to hire to do this work. So as of today, I'll be strictly enforcing the excess photo rule. If anyone posts more than five photos at once, especially misclassified ones, I'll give you a warning to clean them up within 24 hours. If you do not clean them up, they'll be deleted from the site the next day. This is the only way I can stay on top of the vast amount of un/misclassified work that is being added to the site right now.
Thanks for understanding and helping to keep the site organized and useful for others!
