I made this 3D cookie cake using the Lambeth piping technique. This is my very first time to use this technique. 3D construction inspired by @Julia M. Usher as usual. Thank you so much Julia for the wonderful tutorial. For me, it was so hard to bake and assemble curved shaped cookies. I wonder how you assembles them so easily, neatly and wonderfully.
Flood and stiff consistency royal icing and #1, #3, #13, #16, #46, #101 nozzles being used.
Couldn't capture all of the steps since I was working with my toddler. But here I attached some of steps I could able to capture. It was really fun and educative. Since it fall on to our anniversary, I used the theme "Anniversary".

Whole cookie dimension:
Wide 13 cm
Length 13 cm
Height 14 cm without topper.

A lot of the trick is in having your dough formulated properly for 3-D work - and in rolling thinner than you might expect. The curved pieces will spread and crack less that way!

Thank you for explaining it further.

Holy Crap! This is so nice. Its good you can cover up some of the mistakes with all the piping! That's what I did!! I love your bottom layer. What did you use to bake your curved pieces on?

Yes, did cover up seams (and mistakes could cover up too) as progressed. To bake curve I used Tuna Can and stainless steel cylinder which I had. Thanks @talia!

Wow, this is spectacular! What a labor of love this must have been. I can't believe you learned 3-D cookie construct AND Lambeth-style piping just for this challenge! YOU are a Practice Bakes Perfect rockstar @Kanch J! I hardly know where to start with my comments, so I will go from top to bottom! You did a wonderful job with that lettering. It's hard enough to do single-layer lettering on a cookie, let alone multi-layer lettering transfers! Amazing. You did a terrific job on all of the upper layer scrollwork, and it does a wonderful job of hiding the cookie seams! I like that delicate stringwork hanging below the top tier, but I am truly wowed by the stringwork at the bottom o the cake. It's very impressive! What a magnificent addition to the challenge this is!
