Lucy,  watching this was like getting a massage.....

There's a story behind "The Hare and the Silver Moon".  You could write children's stories and illustrate them with your magical cookies.   Something to think about.

Thank you! I've long thought about illustrating old fairy tales or myths with cookies. Not sure about writing the stories myself though!

It was very cool to see how you use the silver foil.  I didn't know you needed edible glue, until I watched this.  I could watch you pipe all day.

I'm not sure you definitely need edible glue, to be honest, but I didn't want to risk wasting the stuff! It'll stick to anything damp. I considered just painting the RI surface with water, but reckoned that a) it would dry too quickly while I was working, and b) didn't know whether it would stay stuck down or rub off once dry.

What kind of edible glue do you use?

Hey, Lucy, This video wasn't revealing correctly (wasn't showing on Cookie Connection) because instead of copying the YouTube embed code and placing it above, you copied the url for the video. For the future, the embed code is found by clicking on "Share" under your YouTube video, and then selecting "Embed"; then you want to grab the code that reveals there.  (See screen shot of where I grabbed the embed code for this video, attached below). The embed code for this video looks like this: "<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/T6a27-ycERI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>" without the quotes.

Oh sorry, I thought I'd done that!

Quick question...where did you purchase the silver (or gold) leaf?

I've bought it in small amounts from local supermarkets, but that's expensive. I've also bought it from ebay, but you have to be careful to ensure you find a legitimate seller with the proper edible stuff. I used VantageCC who are a UK seller.
