Lolita (rorita) Fashion which is the fashion subculture born in Japan, if you google “Lolita fashion” you are going to find out the details of this fluffy fashion. *I personally have never tried this fashion, though.
The techniques I used:
1. Edible lace for umbrella, bow and skirt
Umbrella: I cut the edible lace to fit into the shape of the umbrella then I did piping to decorate more.
Bow for the hair: I cut the edible lace and made ribbon shape with it then I iced on it to make blue ribbon on the lace.
Skirt: I cut the edge of edible lace. I attached them to skirt (pink circled ones) then put dots on upper side then piped bottomside to make frill. *I iced the purple-arrow parts first (like petticoat) piped frill then added edible lace to increase the volume of skirt.
2. Eyelet
Eyelet for collar, these are the tinniest eyelets for me to have made
3. Needlepoint
Needlepoint for socks. I hope this is counted as needlepoint. There is 1mm or less between lines.
4. Piping
What I wanted to create is organdie with lace on blue skirt.
She's gorgeous! How big is she? The piping is so teeny - well done!
Thank you, Julia. She is 21cm which is 8.26 inches, if I include the umbrella it is 26cm which is 10.23 inches. The needlepoint, of which gap between lines is 1mm which is 0.039 inches.
Wow, Ryoko. You have really outdone yourself! And your piping is incredible!!!
Thank you Christine, with your help my piping is improved a lot. I am not good at piping still but I do not hate it that much. I really appreciate it. Of course I know I need to practice more and I admit I do not like practice, but I will try.
