These looked much better in my mental design, but alas, practice (for me) makes better (not perfect). I find nothing I do to be perfect, but I'll explain the design and maybe you will see the beauty in my attempt. The scalloped edges of this cutter reminded me of the challange where we made lace, the roses (although mine are made of fondant) reminded me of the challange where we made RI roses, the little peach colored flowers (made with the stencil) reminded me of the challange where I learned how to scrape the RI through the stencil, the embossed yellow backgrounds reminded me of the challange to get shape from things around your kitchen, and the dots, reminded me of some really well done delicate designs (other cookiers do) (even though mine look pretty sloppy and my RI is a bit thin). The red roses remind me of the love I have for this place and for our fearless leaders Julia and Christine, and the yellow is for friendships that have developed over the years.
Wow, so many challenges and much inspiration rolled into one! First, I have to say that I love your colors. They are so vibrant and full of life. Also, adding the stenciled royal icing flowers really helps to create dimension. When I look at this set, I see beauty, effort and improvement, and that is what makes them perfect.

Kim, what a wonderful tribute to how Cookie Connection has influenced your work and your life ❤️ @Kim Damon. I think your work is wonderful and so deserving of being on the list of spotlighted cookies last week!! You are being much too hard on yourself my dear cookie friend...you've done beautiful work with purpose behind each cookie design. Your roses are gorgeous, especially on the yellow background. A perfect color combination! The stenciling is well done with the Royal Icing flower transfers . Wonderful work, Kim ❤️
