This is a masterful study in texture! Also, as a Chicagoan and Polar Vortex surviver, I can verify that these very accurately depict the many frosty landscapes of "Chiberia!" I am wowed by the number of different techniques that you used, each one with such great skill. I also LOVE the lighting you used in your photo - it really captures the feel of low-on-the-horizon winter sunshine, and helps to define and accent the incredible textures. This is a fantastic addition to the challenge!

I am very glad you love the lightning I used. Imagine, I took the photo during the sunset and it was the natural light in our room. 😊
