Born in Havana, Cuba. Immigrated to USA @ 8 years old. Worked AT&T for 31 years. Now retired taking care of grandchildren. Had never baked a cookie or cake in my life until I temporarily moved to Chicago ( I was 49) and took some cake classes at a craft store. Now, I make cakes and started making cookies recently. I enjoy the decorating part of cakes and cookies much more than the baking. Since I’m pretty crafty the decorating comes natural to me where the baking doesn’t. I sometimes sell my cakes and cookies but I don’t have an official business.
