I am Dianna and I was born in Galveston, Texas. Yes, I am an Island girl. I am an only child, not spoiled (spoiled things are sort of useless) but I like to think of myself as a little overly ripe. I have had five heart surgeries, died twice and was told I would be mentally challenged or have a learning disability (I have two degrees) and I was told I would never have a child. Well, that part that got right except, I have seven (6 daughters and a son) Guess who was last? I have 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. I am blessed beyond measure.
Cake-Time Production was formed as an answered prayer. In 2016, I had a uterine cancer scare. Everything the doctor had seen but by the time I had surgery the was gone except for a tiny polyp.
I was off work and money was a bit scarce. I prayed and asked God for financial help and when I did not see a big sack of money on my patio, I thought that was the end of it. Well, it was only the beginning. I had made cakes for my church and family. I made a doll cake to look like a bride for my friend's daughter's shower. I was asked how much I charged, I had no idea and that is how it began.
I heard someone say, if you give a man a fish, he will have food for only that day, but if you teach a man to fish, he will have food for days after. I guess God taught me to fish. I amaze myself at my abilities. I have never received any formal education in the culinary world, I only learned by reading and watching videos, lots and lots of videos.
I am praying God will continue to increase my talents and my business.
