I got married in 1994 and the cake I got for my wedding was so good that's when I started getting interested in cake decorating. I started cake decorating in 1998  taking lessons from wilton out of michael's. just for family and friends, then I needed to make money and in 2009 I started taking fondant lessons with Susan Carberry from the cake cottage and joined california cake club. I went to cake camp twice in 2009 and 2011 and took a lot of classes. I was using a commercial kitchen and sold cakes out of there for 4 years and wasn't making enough money (we were in the middle of remodeling our house) So I went back to nursing... and just quit nursing 10/2018. And now coming back to my passion of baking. I just happened to see Julia usher on facebook and started looking at all of her youtube videos and now I'm starting again!
