my passion for cake decoration is from when I was a little girl
my mother was a cake decorator for family events only and I helped her make flowers in gum paste and royal icing that she made with egg white lemon juice and powdered sugar :-)
when I was expecting my first child I took pastry classes and I started making cake and cookies
I started my own business as a baker and started making several wedding cakes, first communion, baptisms, birthdays and more.
then in 1999 we had to emigrate to usa, specifically to california
and I did not make more cakes or cookies, only for my children not for sale
until my niece also had to emigrate and she came to my house and she motivated me to start making cakes and cookies again, I was scared, but I started making cakes and cookies and started selling them to friends and acquaintances.
 But I have a hard time establishing the prices of my work.
I have learned many things with the videos of Julia Usher, I love how she explains every detail
my dream is to open my own business :-)
any advice will be welcome
