I found my love for baking in general by really by accident.  I really love to cook and I was making dinner daily for a house of women in recovery and they always raved about what I made for them.  So, like any other ego driven American, I baked more and more, getting a little more decadent and creative as time went on.  One Christmas I was going to a cookie swap and needed 10 dozen.  I wanted to keep it simple but yummy so Christmas Sugar Cookies it was.  I got so much enjoyment from doing it, I made them for every holiday or special event.  People loved them and many times told me I should sell them.  Although ego driven I'm a bit of an introvert, so I just brought them to functions etc. with a business card attached.  The order started coming and continue with new and repeat customers.
