Like most, my love for baking started in my mothers kitchen; hovering over her every move, wearing her oversized aprons, and making a complete mess. Over the years baking was a hobby and was a therapeutic outlet while attending college for business. After making a wedding cake and desserts for a dear friend (in the smallest of apartment ovens) on ZERO sleep, I knew I could see myself doing this for the REST OF MY LIFE. My father's voice popped into my head "Find what you love to do and you will never work a day in your life." And with that, Marla's Cookie Co. was born. MCC is a WA state Cottage Foods Operation and is licensed in Tri-Cities WA. I truly am passionate about what I do and hope it shines through my work.
