I was a professional baker and cake decorator. I taught classes in cake decorating, fondant, candy making, royal icing, and gum paste. I was accepted into the CIA - Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY into their Pastry Chef Program, but had to decline due to having severe carpal tunnel syndrome. Now I decorate cakes and cookies on occasion.
