My full-time job, although I love it, is extremely stressful. As soon as I get home from work, I turn on the radio (has to be NPR), put on my yoga pants, and start making. My life is divided in half, very distinctly, between working and making. Working is noisy and fast. Making is quiet and slow. Each sustains the other.
