I made my first cookie 12 years ago. I saw these beautiful wedding cake cookies in a bridal magazine and fell in love. One week before my own wedding, I baked, decorated, wrapped and tagged 130 wedding cake cookies. Two years ago I found Bridget at Bake at 350 and then Callye of Sweet Sugarbelle on Facebook and realized there were a ton of people as passionate about cookies as I was. Through Facebook I was also introduced to Julia Usher and thus began my informal "training" through her awesome books. I started my own business in August of 2012 and now bake and ship cookies for clients for any occasion.
