I'm largely a self taught custom cake and cookie baker. As a gift one year, I was given a 2 day cookie decorating class with Chef Toba Garrett, at the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC. I'd been decorating cookies for years before this, but after, my cookies took on a much more professional look. This allowed me to own a home based custom cake and cookie business.
After a 6 year hiatus from all the flour and sugar, I'm back in the kitchen again and anxious to hang out with like minded people.
