TyNesha always known that she would be a chef one day, when she entered high school her Extravagant, uncontainable passion started to blossom to become a pastry chef. Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, nobody could keep her out of the kitchen. Graduated from Bucks Country Technical High School where she studied professional baking from a great old-fashion pastry chef Dave Corbett. Right out of high school with the desire to keep learning she attended The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College, where she received her Bachelor degree in the Pastry Arts (Cum Laude).
The Desire to focus on cake decorating started with her first internship at Van Earls Cakes, in Langhorne, Pa. Where most of her hour was working with Van French on Small details, Lace work and Gum Paste flowers for his beautiful wedding cakes.
As a traveler Seeing the breath taking desserts oversea in such places as Champagne, Dijon, Burgundy and Paris: during a trip for a class to France. Also a week in London a trip that would never been forgotten.
Making her first mark in Philadelphia when she entered 2 years in a round at the City of Hope: Let Them Eat Cake completion. Also Working at Philly Cupcake, a cupcake Boutique is where she had the freedom to create unique cupcakes. Since 2013 she has been working on developing her Fondant techniques, At a well-known Oteri’s Italian Bakery in Philadelphia. Even at the age of 25 she is working on a new path in the pastry arts world. She has decided to revisit her dream of opening a specialized bakery. The problem was she didn’t know what to specialized in until now. Her dream can now be a reality in a few months.
