This is just a reminder that royal icing transfers can be anything you want them to be. It's hard to show just how delicate these pieces look in real life. Hopefully, these photos will help.

Dear Christine your stars are… and I can’t find the right adjective for them, I’m speechless! So, beautiful, elegant, dainty and SO fragile!!! Absolutely stunning. One thing is clear to me, you are a patient lady and after this work, you have developed it even more🤭 Could you tell us a little of how you created these amazing pieces of art, please? 👏👏♥️

Thank you Heather @Heather Bruce Sosa for such a nice compliment. ❤️ To make the transfers, I placed a sheet of acetate over an outline of a star. I used royal icing thicker than toothpaste to trace the star pattern, and continued piping lines that would cross over one another to create a three-dimensional effect. the stars are actually two pieces "glued" back-to-back. This technique is something that is better shown than explained. I am working on my video skills so hopefully I can put together a proper tutorial.

@Heather Bruce Sosa Thanks, Heather. I filmed a ton of videos (not stringwork) and ended up with one that was good enough to post so I'm super happy about that. There's so much to learn, but I'm getting there.
