I went looking for "old fashioned" wood crafted tool boxes that would remind me of what my dad had when I was growing up. In my search for toolboxes I came across the following that I thought would be perfect for turning into a cookie .
At 68 my dad left us far too young! I was a real "Daddy's Girl" who followed him around trying to soak up as much wisdom as I could. He wasn't quite as confident about his ability to fix things but I was always amazed by his attitude of giving it a try no matter how difficult the task may have seemed. I loved that positive attitude in him . What a wonderful man and role model!!
Here's another view of the back of the tool box. Hopefully, many of you still have your dad's right there with you. Cherish him with all your heart because time goes by so quickly and the time you have with him may turn out to be far too short as it was for me. Here's the empty toolbox so you can see the inside construction .
Thank you dear Evelin!! @Evelindecora . Your comments are always so special and encourage me to keep at it, never give up when learning new techniques and mediums. I've learned so much by seeing other people's work.
I have yet to try some of the miniature designs you have perfected. Thank you for always challenging me, Evelin. Love your work and especially your kind heart ❤️❤️
You did a wonderful job on this one. I think your dad would be proud
Oh how wonderful to see you here once more @pip!!! I've missed seeing your beautiful work and look forward to seeing more of it very soon . Hugs...❤️❤️
