Happy Birthday, dear Ryoko @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave.! This is my virtual little present for you.
I “met” Ryoko here on Cookie Connection four years ago and she has started this sweet tradition of exchanging virtual cookies for our birthdays. During these years we have been so lucky to meet twice and exchange cookies in person. The first time because she stopped over in Bangkok for few hours and since I just moved there, we met for lunch at the airport. I cried and made her cry as well. The second time it was last fall during a trip in Japan. If it wasn’t for this Covid situation I am sure there would have been a third time! 💙🌸

Thank you indeed, Manu. I feel like I have seen you more than twice! Actually it is just like yesterday you were here in my town. It was fun.
When I felt really down because of this staying home thing, you made me want to make cookies! While I was writing you, suddenly the idea came out, that is very different from the cookies I thought I would make for one month. Thank you.
Happy birthday, @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave.! I hope someone is making you a scrumptious cookie cake today!
Thank you, Julia. I hope so, too but no cake.... I heard one of my friend in Japan would bake cheese cake but she's far and we should stay home. She is going to eat that for me..... 😭I hope she is not going to send me her eating that cheese cake.
It is very nice to know that there are people far away caring about me 😉and to see what they make. 😍😍 Your cookies make me happy, needless to say this "R" cookie is very special.

Thank you for "R" cookie. I like R 💙
So happy to hear that! These are such strange times. I am always looking forward to having time to decorate. But all of a sudden when I am forced home with plenty of time it is hard to find inspiration or to start making cookies. Here’s another picture taken this afternoon.

Oh, with your hand (finger)! 😁 Wait, are they your fingers? LOL
This cookie is so pretty. Since I am not good at counting numbers, I cannot make this. R is going to be F, if I make.
Yes, I understand that, I have so much time for myself but I spent most of my time in front of TV in my comfort cloth.
How I love seeing these gestures of affection and connection!!! CC is truly a uniquely wonderful place to meet others with the same passion for cookie art. IMHO, Julia's "brainchild", CC, is more than sharing a passion of cookie decorating though, it's a daily uplifting of spirit and joy with the most awesome friends around the world ❤️❤️.
Thank you @CHIKAKO.F! Ryoko first came up with this idea and surprised me on my birthday. Then it has become a tradition that included also Zara @carouselselsel . But Ryoko is the one who has been always consistent! 💙
Thank you, Zara @carouselselsel. I think the rose drives all the attention. I used petal dust in the middle for the first time and it makes a difference.

Thank you, Carol @Cookies Fantastique. I couldn’t say that better. This amazing virtual place connects cookiers in a way that other social media will never do! 💙🌸
