A Summer Day

Hi Birthday girl!  Happy Birthday! 

Manu’s 3-D Summer Cookie Box ( https://cookieconnection.julia...-d-summer-cookie-box ) made me want  to make cookie that has a gap.  Hers is 3-D but mine is flat and actually this is one solid cookie instead of assembling some cookies.

I also wanted to make letters with royal icing just like Manu did, “Letter Board Cookie”

I used PME #1.5 tip and I think that was too thin for letters because most of them were broken, they were too fragile.  As it said, I should use PME#2. 

3 years ago I made this cookie for Manu’s birthday, wow time flies so fast!  

This year the girl decided to take her home.

The texture of fence is made with brush, the lawn is fuzzy effect (stippling)

Why is it that I always rely on you to remind me of Manu's birthday each year?! I should have it memorized by now. Anywho, thank you and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, dear @Manu biscotti decorati!

Thank you Gabi @Icingsugarkeks   When I made the girl standing next to a sunflower 3 years ago, I didn't know that Manu actually loves sunflowers enough to take it (them) home.   😄

4年前に、女の子がひまわりと話をしているクッキーをManuのお誕生日に作ったら、実はひまわりが大好きで、咲いているひまわりを家に持って帰った事があるんだって言う話でした、あれから4年。ひまわりをいただこうとして帽子を落とし苦戦する女の子クッキーとなりました。
