Blueberry GroupFor this past week, I chose to make some blueberries.  It was the first time I relied exclusively on royal icing transfers for the decoration.  Using the transfers enabled me to manage my time a bit better for the week.  (My normal cookie decorating days were already pretty full.)  I was able to make the transfers earlier in the week and it really helped me.  Making a 150 of these made my wrist start to hurt from the piping!  Again, new appreciation for professional cookiers!  I decided to give a nod to local purveyors - many of whom have been so hard hit by the pandemic.  I used @Julia M. Usher recipe for orange clove cookies and they were a big hit.

Thank you so much dear @Heather Bruce Sosa.  They were a big hit!

Oh, such a labor of love! Awesome work on ALL of those blueberries!

Thank you so much @Julia M. Usher.  There were definitely a LOT of blueberries.  My sisters started trolling me with pictures of blueberries 😂!

Wow Lisa!!! These are so awesome...lots and lots of blueberries . You are continuing your wonderful labor of love with these beautiful cookies @LisaF!! What a great idea to create all those royal icing transfers. I can well imagine that it helped a lot when it came to finishing the cookies .

Great work my dear ❤️❤️

Thank you so much my friend @Cookies Fantastique.  The transfers did come in quite handy.  For some reason, I was pretty tired that day and the ability to use the transfers saved me!

That's a lot of blueberries (and a LOT of piping!), but they look great!

Lol. Thank you Christine @Sweet Prodigy.  I'll admit, I was a bit over blueberries by the time I finished.  And my husband has them every morning for breakfast 😂
