Hi, @Gulnaz, This is a lovely entry, but remember that to qualify for the challenge, you must list (and/or show) the three different molds/texturing tools you used to create this entry. Please place this information in a comment under this photo in order to remain in the challenge. Thank you!

For this cookie set I used a Springerle dough recipe and two molds and a pattern from an oven glove.

1.  First, the center of the cookie is a silicone cameo mold from Dolcemania (www.dolcemania-stamperia.com) purchased at an art and crafts store in Tartu, Estonia.  The three images are: lady with bird, boy kissing girl and lady with dove.

Around the cameo I made a long thin border by rolling out dough by hand.

2.  For the background I used an imprint from the pattern of one of my oven gloves and then cut the dough with an oval shaped cookie cutter.

3.  For the edge I used a Wilton silicone mold.  I put the dough in the mold creating a necklace like pattern and wrapped it around the oval shaped cookie.

I dried the cookie for 24 hours and baked.  It held a good shape, but it was a bit plain looking.  I wanted to give it some life so I painted them using edible dusting color mixed with a little vodka.

Hi Julia, sorry I was trying to figure out how to post everything and attach the pictures. I was working on it the last half hour.  I still don't understand how you can write all of the details before you make the initial post.  Tonight I made the posted the initial clip, but then had to go in and create a separate post.  Sorry again.  Thanks for your note.

Sorry, I did not look at the time stamp on your initial post, so I have no idea how long it took you to write the above comment after posting the photo. I am doing my daily clean-up of the site now, so perhaps I just caught your photo at a bad time (just as you were posting it and before your comments were in). That happens from time to time.

But to address the point about writing the details, you can always do that in another word processing document and just cut and paste that text into the post when the time comes. Then the only thing you'd have to deal with is inserting any photos.

Great idea. Thanks, I will try that next time.

This is such a lovely entry!  The soft gold color looks so delicate next to the very light-colored dough, and provides such a nice contrast to the deeper-colored cameos.  Your use of the oven mitt texture was inspired!  Well done, you.

Thank you Christine. It was a little bit of a challenge to come up with the idea. Thank you for coming up with this theme. There are so many creative entries.
