Adorable! Thank you for all the information, as I never would have guessed petal dust and vegetable oil for such a crisp and richly colored image. I'm not familiar with how you make bows like that, what is DECOgel? Are they hard and shiny like candy, or is it a coating? Either way, the whole set is lovely, and I love the dimension on your edges and flowers.

Thank you all.  Wildflower, DECOgel is a gelatin product made by Icing Images that is melted in the microwave and poured into molds. When removed from the mold it is similar to gummy candies - not hard like isomalt.  It can be remelted, frozen, or stored at room temperature. I've been having fun experimenting with it.  There are other uses besides pouring into molds.  Concerning the oil and petal dust, the oil does not dry (or takes a very long time) so use sparingly. I like how it doesn't smear the stamped lines.

Thank you so much for sharing your information! It's always fun to find something new to play with, lol. I wonder if it comes in clear? Can you just paint a thin layer on the icing, or is it too hot/goopy for anything other than molds? If you can stack it, it might be the perfect solution to making things like eyeglasses look shiny.

Your stamping is so crisp and nice looking. Maybe I will pick up a stamp and give your method a try sometime.

Yes, it does come in clear and I have seen it used to make eyes shiny and tv screens glassy.
