Thank you everyone!  Econlady, I don't keep track of exact hours, but at times it seemed like forever .  I started baking pieces the day after Thanksgiving.  I worked on it off and on for 3 days that weekend, then during the week in the evenings after work, around kid's ballgames, etc. then finished it this past weekend.

Staring at all of the details.  Splendid!  I love everything.  I cannot get over the carousel topper.  Wowowowoowwww!  All of you are going to force me into a Facebook account!  Just darn it!  lol

HaHa donaharrisburg . . . you don't need to get an account. Just google Rocking Horse Sugar Decor and my facebook page comes up as an option. Click on it and you can see the photos.  Thanks for your kind comments.

I just came across this carousel for the first time, and I am amazed. It is so beautiful and creative! You made a great decision to use a more subdued green and leave parts of the cookie bare, as it makes all the intricate details really stand out. Absolutely stunning, like a little Christmas children's fantasy. Bravo!
