Embossed Christmas Cookie platter 2019

They look yummy and kawaii!

A variation of my “Christmas Cookie Platter 2019”, my November tutorial on Cookie Connection.

This year embossing rolling pins are very popular and are becoming a trend, but I embossed the cookie dough with the @SugarVeil Lace Mat instead. Once I baked the cookies and let them cool down, I filled the design with royal icing accents. For this technique I got inspired by @Julia M. Usher . She has been using this embossing technique since 2015. You’ll find many videos featuring this technique on her YouTube channel and here is the link to the one related to Christmas Ornaments. 

Here’s one more version, which I left naked because the design is already an ornament!

Oh I just love this Manu @Manu biscotti decorati!! The use of lace mats are perfect for this application and so fun. Your creativity always amazes me my dear cookie friend. Awesome work ❤️
